Why?Finalement, that question of what do on New Year’s -- solved in a few simple words. New Year’s rolls around every year and every year you ask, “what to do, what to do?” Alas, with three choice options, we're not really going to make things any easier for you.
On one hand, TO's legendary The Sadies will be at the Horseshoe plucking their hearts out for their tenth consecutive New Year’s gig. If going out with the wolf pack is on tap, consider the most pocket-friendly of the lot at the Boat: there, you’re guaranteed easy conversation and décor that will get you nostalgic for the basement of your childhood home. Last up is the Garrison -- if dancing is the order of the evening, this is your destination of choice. The best dance tracks from 1890 to 2011, played in chronological order, will go on well past the stroke of midnight. There: an age-old conundrum solved.

OPENING OF THE WEEK
Lee Lounge: For Real This Time
Why? Because this is TO's most anticipated opening. In the words of its celebrity chef, Lee Lounge is the product of Susur Lee’s observations on global dining trends. A place where people gather for a drink, chat and enjoy delicious food. Problem is, their opening kept being pushed back -- August quickly became fall, then eventually December. But apparently this time Lee Lounge will open this week for real. If so, Susur, we're there.
